Program Overview
The Youth NCD Action Network is a groundbreaking initiative that empowers young people aged 15-24 to take charge of their health and become advocates for non-communicable disease prevention in their communities. Through a comprehensive approach combining education, peer support, and innovative digital tools, we’re building a healthier generation equipped to make informed health decisions
Our program addresses the growing burden of NCDs (diabetes, hypertension, cancer, respiratory diseases) among youth by creating sustainable behavior change through community-led interventions and youth-centered approaches
- Raise awareness among youths on NCDs burden, prevention and control.
- Train youths on NCD advocacy -Support youths to walk the talk on advocacy
- Train youths on allied leadership skills to support and incentivize health objectives.
Program's Goal
Creating a national youth NCD Action Network in order to reduce the burden of NCDs among Cameroonian youths
Health Education Workshops
Interactive sessions on nutrition, exercise, mental health, and disease prevention tailored for youth audiences.
Peer Support Networks
Youth-led support groups creating safe spaces for discussing health challenges and sharing solutions.

Equipping youth with skills to advocate for healthier policies and environments in their communities.
